When you register your business information, that information (name, address, etc.) becomes public record. Many fraudulent companies scan these records to find fresh victims. The same happens when you file for your trademark. If you are ever in doubt, ASK YOUR LAWYER. Check the Better Business Bureau to see if the sender is accredited.
