He was elite without it but I’d say he and asuma would be equal without the eye. He would not be hokage level forsure

He really only used the eye in high difficulty battles, he was the youngest jonin in n the village next to itachi I believe… he was still a problem for sure .

Kakashi is extremely intelligent and talented. He arguably would’ve been stronger without the sharingan. His father was more powerful than the sannin. The sharingan constantly drained his chakra. The main benefits of the sharingan were faster time perception(which helped with the chadori), and copying jutsu. It is even stated that hokage kakashi is stronger than 4th war kakashi.

Kakashi is at the top of the list of what I call A-Tier Bum’s. He’s there along with the likes of Jiraiya. Kakashi was fire af early on but I peeped he really wasn’t anything VERY early in that Zabuza/Haku arc. Granted, Haku was built different.. the sharingan down the line nerfed him more and more. “Sharingan, chidori” now he useless cuz he’s out of chakra. When he was utilizing the summoning dogs, earth release, lightning blade etc. The opps got stronger so it makes sense he started 2 spam it

He still learned the rassengan at a younger age than Naruto, Konohamaru and Boruto, so I think he’d be up there but in the lower S rank tier of ninja

Actually that Sharingan was holding him back as it keeps draining his Chakra.. other than that, he is fundementally skillful
