Idk if you realize this, but libraries buy the book. Actually, because of how digital licenses work, most libraries are paying much more than the average reader. A digital book can be $50+ on libby for just a dozen or so checkouts. And then the library has to buy it again. Vs when they buy a hardcover and may get 30-50 good check outs for that same $30 hardcover.
And these digital rates have been going up so exponentially I can really only call it price gouging. (Which isn't on authors)
