1.Pick a colour/theme of choice to add some character to the space. 2.Add a good looking extractor (will help with smoke and smells) and some open shelving for spices, dress it up with spices - they will add colour and personality and make the space functional too. 3. Add a rug & stack the bottles on top in nice baskets 5. Personally, I’d start by decluttering. Then I’d fit led lights under my wall units. I’d certainly want tiles or some sort of easy cleanable surface behind my hob, and would probably extend that behind all my work surfaces. Hope this helps😁
