This omg! My friends and I have been dealing with an internet stalker for over a year and a half that developed parasocial relationships with us and it’s scary and exhausting.

I just had to ban someone from my Discord, Twitch and block them on my socials because they were crossing boundaries I was very clear about. Then they guilt tripped me about “rejecting them” and accused me of gaslighting them.

People can be so horrible and cruel to get what they want.. but at what point do you say “this isn’t just parasocial anymore, it’s abuse” I’m sure it’s a fine line but I would 100% consider guilt tripping as abuse bc at its core it’s just another manipulation tactic and this is so not the year for people to FA bc they will FO. I hope they drop it now that they’re blocked, but I’ve known those who would make many fake accounts to get at me. Stand your ground & the trash starts to take itself out👍🏻
