This "whataboutism" is regressive in nature as it acts to absolve the sins/environmental impact of the air travel you've mentioned. The biggest criminals as you've listed, serves the average Joe and Jane, and often there's little to no alternatives. i.e. fast fashion is cheap, and meat is an efficient protein source. For private jet use, THERE IS ALWAYS ALTERNATIVES, and you bet they can afford it. Fun fact, more rich people in first/business class subsidize the ticket price for everyone else
