Rules for thee but not for me. I joined the church back in the day. my employeer found out immediately fired me.was going to take waitress job that actually paid QUITE WELL..The bishopic somehow found out/I was drug into his office for a TALKING TO..that LDS should not taking jobs served or selling coffee or alcohol TO ANYONE EVER..I was shamed/ told I would be in trouble if they found I had taken job. Been called liar repeatedely by members claiming that would never happen.Bishops roulette?

I know there’s a few companies that are Mormon owned I’ve just assumed they’re with the church and help put funds into the churches that way 👌🏽

To each their own I guess, but we don’t really know either 🤷🏻‍♀️ There’s surprisingly lots of different types of “Mormons” (or members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) out there for sure with varying beliefs.

God’s greatest gift to us is free will. Even Mormons are free to use theirs.

You can be a Mormon and drink, smoke, own a smoke shop or whatever. You will just not be in good standing in the church is all. Like you wouldn’t be able to go to the temple unless you stopped drinking and smoking.
