Just watched husband & wife pensioner who are £5 over limit for wrong saying they can only afford 1 hour heating a day in their 1 bed accommodation. As a single pensioner also in 1 bed accommodation I find it difficult to understand how they can’t cope & what their money goes on. I don’t smoke or drink but run a car, have a cat, support national trust & do the odd coffee & cake meet up with friends.

10 小時內	Jayne Rainey jayne.kr	Many pensioners on the new state pension with even a small private pension Are still managing on the income Works out about £36/37 per day But remember that’s before any out goings Many own there property Mostpay insurances to keep there lives safe Maybe run a car Or have a pet BB is a must as you can’t do anything with out the internet But no holidays of sky Limited savings as it’s used for the months of pension not covering outgoings So if you can live on that per day :-
