I think it depends on what you want out of it. If I were to do a Masters abroad, I would have to take a loan or get a scholarship. I am apprehensive to take a loan, and I don’t feel like being tied to another bond again. So local is my option. I’m lucky that we have very good unis for the subject I plan to pursue. Situation may be different if I planned to work overseas after.

If those people are going to pay your fee, okay je 😂 else just do what you want. Local university or not, yang penting the quality of your work. Abroad kalau PhD would give you better opportunity & exposure. Some country have free fee and pay you monthly like a worker. And if you are lucky, you might even get a job there
