You clearly aren't job searching in tech now or you have an amazing network

Last I looked, those jobs were paying substantially less than tech - and I don’t mean FAANG. Have they come up?I looked at some engineering positions in US federal government and they were being paid something like $70k and requiring quite a lot of experience. I’d assume the private sector of govt contractors is better though but I don’t think it’s competitive with a lot of other stuff out there. What do you see?
