Looking back on the times I’ve used dating apps I’m beyond disappointed in myself. Especially my Bumble era in 2019. When I look back, ALL the red flags were there in every profile I swiped right on. I should have unmatched. I should have protected my body and my sanity. I have to admit that I was so hyper focused on companionship that I was willing to settle for anything. Lesson learned: protect yourself the first time or suffer the long term consequences of poor decisions. *sigh*
