I share the same issue. However I'm finding solutions slowly! I have pictures from 15 years ago I refuse to delete 😂 Rate them and then just prioritize the 5s and go through the rest when there's time and sort them. I'll remove my 1s and no stars from the catalogue every month or so and either delete them permanently or they go into my personal memories folder, which is just for fun memories, trips, stuff like that.
