Soup Joumou (loosely translated as pumpkin soup) is a delicious and traditional Haitian dish that symbolizes freedom, resilience and pride since 1804! In this honor, we make Soup Joumou every January 1st. But since we didn’t get home from our travels until last night, I made some today!
