How many tarot fans are on here? I have some questions 👀 How important is the booklet that comes with some sets to you? Would you be okay with it being digital, which would help cut cost of the deck overall?

I’d be fine with that as an experienced reader but a new reader will want a booklet

I always go by booklet and if I were utterly obsessed, I'd be okay with a digital booklet

Follow up question that I forgot to add... How important is it that the book fits within the box?

Anything that requires me to have to use my phone while I practice my craft is a negative to me. I don't mind getting information digitally, but the minute I pick up my phone I'm immediately at risk of getting distracted by a million other apps/notifications/messages. So, I think it would be great to offer both options to people. Charge a bit more for a deck with the physical book or give someone a link/qr code to the online version to download and allow them to purchase just the deck.

First, how exciting that you are creating a deck! It depends on how expensive the deck is to begin with. If the deck is $50+ I expect a guidebook. If your deck really deviates from RWS or Thoth structure, a physical guidebook is a must. I like it when the guidebook speaks to the art choices as well. My resolution this year is to read every guidebook for every deck I add to my collection this year so this is at top of mind today :) If it adds $5 it isnt a large cost add.
