Over 8,000 words on the first draft of my first 100k fanfic! And yes, I’m including my [get there] notes in that word count because every single bit of what I’ve written is needed to make this story as big as I want it to be. And I need to keep track of the poetry and literary references I make so I can credit them in the notes.
