It’s because the majority do it for ulterior motives. They see an attractive person that they could eventually sleep or be with. Chances are they wouldn’t be like that with their friends, family or someone they aren’t attracted to. Majority of genuine people don’t try to people please. True generosity and niceness isn’t selective
