Saw him live TWICE. Nothing like it. Nothing. Just sublime.

I saw him twice once solo n once during the "infamous" tour with Anita Baker in the round. The stage moved like a clock hand so when he did Wait For Love Luther n the background singers including Lisa Fisher would all look at their ⌚ it was 🔥 🔥🔥 he was incredible‼️‼️

Go get the DVD Luther Vandross Live At Wembley. It not as good as seeing him in concert but you get the feel of a Luther Vandross. I saw him several times in concert. I was never disappointed. He truly didn’t play with out ticket money back in the 80’s. He always put on a great show. Band and background singers were 🔥🔥🔥🔥

My parents were big Luther fans so I saw him several times. Once with Anita Baker. My twin brother and I were young teens at the time but we loved every minute of it.

Not to rub salt in the wound, but he was fabulous and flawless, always!
