Tricky question, I have def undersold and I never used those calculations….. it prob depends on followers. I can’t expect or should expect to sell at or more than someone w 400x my followers…… but I follow someone that is selling at levels I don’t think it is deserving of. I was given the materials for a commission and gave no price for the commission, I’m hoping it pans out!! I’ll still have fun doing it though!!

Is this in dollars? Like $1.50 usd per square inch? Or are you saying $150 usd per square foot? I’m currently planning on charging $2 per square inch (CAD) because I too am a beginner painter.

This is gonna sound dumb but after pricing things based off time and supplies and all that, I usually price my stuff somewhere between what’s mathematically correct and what I would want to pay for it if I was a customer. I try to put myself in my customers shoes if I’m really trying to sell something. I also resell furniture on the side and use the same rule of thumb and it usually works out pretty good.
