If the world is round why can’t we fly over Antarctica? flight paths from Australia down over Antartica to Europe anyone? Yet they fly 21 hours from Australia to Europe. Also look at the map, why does Antartica span from New Zealand all the way to Canada in length with no ocean breaking it up, that’s crazy!!!! I thought we were told it was small? 🤣

4 小時內	Cookie Monster ccookiemonster1	Flights from Australia/NZ to South America do go over Antarctica. It is just that city pairs with enough demand to justify a direct flight over Antarctica is extremely rare. Planes routinely fly over the Arctic region however.
