Explain to me why Jesus would feed the 5000 when they had done nothing to earn it? They were simply hungry, and he fed them. Yet, it we were to witness this today, how many christians would say this is unfair and socialist, or woke? Jesus spent his ministry teaching on receiving the kingdom of heaven, not earning it. He said over and over again, receive. He said be like a little child- children are dependent. They do not earn their way.
