I love a physical book in my hands. I think this might be why I like second hand books, especially old paperback editions. Something about the cover art (especially for old sci fi or fantasy), the slightly yellow tinge to the page, and the subtle smell of the paper itself. Don't get me wrong, if I desperately want the book right now, I'll happily order it and download it to my 15 year old kindle that still just about functions!

Then it's a good thing my debut novel is available in both paperback and ebook formats, you know, in case you want to read a new indie author...

I use both! But definitely prefer the physical copy on my hands! My Kindle is great to bring to work and use on my breaks, less likely to damage it dirty the actual book that way. I like me books to stay pretty! Also, does anyone else just like the smell of books? Or am I just weird 🤔🤷‍♂️
