The number of times I out loud ask myself “am I dumb?” When I’m confused by something, whether it’s a game I’m playing or a scene I’m writing. My husband will go either go “do you want me to answer that or…?” Say no or stay silent but look at me amused. I’m often not asking the question for an answer but it does usually get my brain to look at whatever I’m working on differently 😂
