Fuck the defense and hunting arguments, before all the gun restriction and focusing on mental health, very little gun crime happened. No school shootings either. My parents and grandparents used to bring guns to school and would go hunting afterwards. No school shootings. But then we make it illegal to discipline kids correctly and focus on mental health and gun restrictions… child crime and school shootings go through the roof along with gun crime.
