1.I would think it's because DC has a huge gallery of heroes and villains and not just the trinity and the people around them 2.They don't come with a large fan base that's gonna nickpick everything down to how loose a suit fits 3. They have compelling stories that can be told Popularity isn't the only selling point when you make art sometimes its the content that sales I.E GOTG or Peacemaker
