Me realizing that I think I need to do another edit, and cut at least 30,000 words, before I continue querying... 😭 I love every single scene in my novel. Every single word meticulously curated over months of grueling edits. But the grim reality is that no lit agent is probably going to take a shot on a newbie and their 165,000 word fantasy. 💔
