I wouldn't say I always knew I was transgender. I always was transgender I just didn't know it. A good example is I always hated wearing suits or dress shirts. My ex-girlfriend would complain that when we went out for dinner, I'd just have jeans and a t-shirt on. I thought the formality of the clothes was what I hated. Now, I'm like any excuse to wear a cocktail dress. I didn't consider the masculinity of the clothes was the issue.
