Now that we know Debrina Kawams name, it’s important that we use it to honor her. Debrina was a vulnerable woman of 57 years who was murdered on the subway by a man who set her on fire while other people watched and filmed. This was a senseless murder and society failed her over and over. Let’s remember Debrina was beautiful with a lovely smile and described by some as a “party girl” in her younger years.
