In 2019, I got my first UX designer job abroad, and that team and manager are still my favorite. They cared about my Hungarian background and always asked about my traditions and language during happy hours. I even held them Hungarian mini language classes. They’re the only team and manager who ever showed that kind of interest in me, which hasn’t happened since. As an immigrant, it’s really special when someone takes an interest in the country I’m from or the values I grew up with.🥺🫶🏼
