I just watched a news story about the looming rise in the cost of Cafe coffee, due to hit $8-12 a cup!! Ouch. But what struck me was the use of the term "cup of Joe". Since when did we here in Australia start calling it that? And can we not? Thank you.

In most places here we have real and decent coffee which should be referred to with all due respect for the barista who poured their heart and soul into it. No to the Joe! 😤 Also coffee beans are going up due to the cost to produce, Ive noticed buying them for my home machine, I guess we have to expect it and maybe one less each week.
