Last evening I asked what is “creamer” and one of the responses I received was it’s like Nestle Coffee Mate. Now as an Aussie, I immediately read that as Nestle Coffee, mate. I then started presuming it was granuled coffee which in fact is Nescafé, so my tangent was getting wider. It was only when the poster showed me a picture of COffee Mate that I realised I was having my Homer 🤦 moment. Who knew the word ‘mate’ had a different meaning 😂 English Language
