don’t think it applies. In most cases if the other doesn’t text back, it means he/she is not that interested or doesn’t want to put in efforts. Then waste your time pursuing others who don’t want to make it work and at the same time being afraid of needy? I don’t think it should be phrased as courageous but unrealistic as you put efforts in the wrong person and unrelisticaly hope someone would miraculously reply and come back. If 90% of the time there’s no miracle then chasing 10% is pointless
