I personally think the app may return, but regardless, this kind of thing is a huge reminder to the people that built their whole business, audience, and brand on a social media app (not the ones who are just there for the dopamine) that apps like these can change and disappear anytime. I'm calling myself out here too, but we need to do better to recognize how fragile these platforms are, to not just rely on one outlet to do everything (even if it's the one that gets the most clout)--
