As a white mother to a mixed daughter I couldn’t agree more! The thing that alot of ppl don’t get is even though I see her as mixed, the world see’s her beautiful mocha skin and says she’s black. And that’s fine, until you realize she will not be picked first for a job unless she works harder than everyone else. If she decides to have children the doctors won’t listen to her unless her “white mom” demands they do. It’s very sad!
