I'm so sick of ppl saying New Orleans is "resilient" in response to anything traumatic happening. It's really not the flex we think it is. IMO. Nothing gets processed correctly here. Physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, everybody just picks up and keep going full of unresolved trauma. All for the sake of "enjoyment of life" Yet, no quality of life. Or regard for it.
