My two cents 🪙 🪙 : In my opinion, the issue with some adult Christians is that they never move beyond the simplified, children’s church or Sunday school approach to understanding scripture, think Veggie Tales level interpretations. This often means their understanding remains basic at best, lacking the depth and nuance needed to grasp the full context and meaning of the texts. This approach has lead to generation after generation of misinterpretations and expectations. 🧵
