- Doing a character breakdown was really helpful for me so I could get to know my characters (be open to them changing) - Brainstorming just to brainstorm and see what comes out of your brain based around the main plot line that you have - Picking a theme for the book so you have a vague idea of the trajectory of the story - Write it down even if you think it's dumb lol - Write something you'd enjoy reading and is already familiar to you Have fun and good luck! :)
