just random thoughts-but the phenomenon of being nonchalant and putting in less effort in love will forever haunt me wrote an essay two years ago on how its impossible to find pure love in late modernity because late modernity (aka liquid modernity) is all about rapid change in identities, social, relationships and economic etc and i’ve come to a conclusion that being nonchalant and putting in less effort are by-products in late modernism because it maximises profit with marginal cost (effort)
