Ok, just got done with a weeklong ICE rental (European road trip). HATED it. Cons: - No regen braking - brakes felt like pieces of wood. - Missed the smooth acceleration of an EV- feeling the automatic transmission shifting gears was jarring. - Good grief, the engine noise! - The emissions-driven “stop-start” thing at stoplights is annoying. - Turns expensive toxic liquid into toxic fumes for you to breathe. Pros: it’s just a rental, I gave it back!
