I don't know anyone who came through the Snowmageddon of '21 (when the Texas power grid failed) that doesn't have a little bit of PTSD whenever we have severe winter weather headed our way.

I had newborn (10 days old) and a 2 year old. By the first evening of no power we had to leave. My son was born prematurely and was so cold. It was a terrifying experience.

I’m originally from Michigan and now reside in East Texas. Try surviving anywhere in freezing weather with no heat and it’s definitely a snowmageddon! I bought a generator after that storm! And pop up tents to put on top of the beds to trap body heat if all else fails!
