Thank you for sharing your story. I think there’s a lot of avoidants who could use someone who’s been there and can advocate that they can change. I healed a part of me that used to run and ended up with someone who had a much deeper wound who has ran on me a couple times. It’s sad because I know she’s aware but that fear runs so deep. i just don’t understand how someone can go from talking every day and developing a connection that they say is unlike any one they’ve had before, making me feel so accepted and loved and happy, and then just be done with it. then i’m the one who has to sit here and feel lost and hurt and brokenhearted. i’m the one who has to know it’s gonna hurt for longer than it lasted. it just isn’t fair.
