Personally I think if you have to think whether you can/should text them, it's not right. Someone who's interested in you and in reciprocating the same energy is okay with you texting, they'd want to hear from you. If I know they're busy the next day as they've shared it, I'll happily send a morning message saying I know you're busy, just checking in, have a nice day! And if they like you they'll come back with a message within a couple of hours and it'll feel fine 😊
