I think what’s missing here is the cost of weddings. Caterers want $300+ per person and may be why couples prefer no kids. If we have a budget, you can only invite who you can afford and that might not be the kids. We didn’t do 100% kid free because if the kid is in the ceremony, they deserve to party too lol. But it may be more about cost than not wanting people there.
