To everyone defending congestion pricing, please tell that to my grandmother, who is able to drive at 102 despite also being unable to walk or use a wheelchair. She has to drive from Long Island (where she paid NYC income tax by choice!) to Manhattan 5 times a day to get a pastrami at Katz's, which per her doctor has to be consumed there or she'll DIE. She obviously can't take the train, and has no money despite her house having appreciated 20 times since she bought it for a nickel in 1955.
