Count Orlok is a demonically reanimated corpse and he has a better grasp on consent than most modern men. Like damn, even the so called “perfect gentleman” Fredrich Harding commits necrophilia with Anna’s body while Orlok is across town insisting that Ellen must resubmit to her contract with him of her own free will. Would he have killed Thomas if she refused him? Sure, but he still wouldn’t have harmed her.
