I’ve never been conservative or prudish. Yet, I’ve always thought there are stages of familiarity & intimacy. And this applies to both romance & friendship, right? Nowhere is the step that instructs: “Now grace her with the profundity of your anatomy.” I am always leery of anyone who demonstrates too much affection for their physical “beauty.” This leads directly to the conclusion that their regard for weightier subjects is no deeper than a car park puddle. I’ll stop moralizing now. Sorry.
