That's such a great way of putting it with the argument in your own head and also it's always very difficult to say when something is finished. Especially because I know all of the aspects of my production could be better but sometimes the imperfection is what makes it finished and complete. Like in this example of the vocals could be slightly more tuned but then they wouldn't be as vulnerable as the song wants them to be.
