My best friend’s parents made a very special announcement at Christmas that my best friend’s sibling has a court date to get their name changed legally. Their grandma was asking a lot of questions, and after it was explained, she kept getting their name correct. Super proud of the entire family 🥹

My grandparents try so hard, they are all 80+ so deadnames and pronouns slip out a lot but I love them for their acceptance and kindness they show me ❤️
