I watched a lot of YouTube when I started. The biggest thing is getting comfortable using manual mode if you haven't already. That is a turning point for most people. I could give a much more detailed explanation if needed. Other than that, practice and have fun. Photography shouldn't feel like a job, so shoot the things you enjoy and keeps you doing it. If the learning is fun and you see results at the same time, it will be so much more enjoyable.
