Taz came to live with us 2 years ago after his owner died. He was a hunting dog and spent his life in an outdoor kennel. Unfortunately, he was also subjected to a shock collar. As a result, he's terrified any time he hears beeping that sounds similar to the warning sound before getting shocked. Here he is reacting to the beep from my Gopro camera this morning. He was trembling and would not come downstairs. Our poor dog has PTSD. 😢

Her breeder said put her lead on and make her sit by my husband. Not a chance! Softly and gently. She walks in harness for me, sits to be dried (that's only 2 weeks since she's done that) but will look to my husband for treats since he gave her the advent calendar treats last month. It's taken a year (15th January) but she's getting there.
