OK, theme parks are great and family vacations are important but – I just had a student informed me that they will be missing 10 days of school for a family trip. Our school calendar is released two days in advance, and yet these parents apparently booked this vacation anyways. They will be leaving three days before high school semester exams and returning a week into the new semester. The student will have to take ALL 6 of their the exam very early, causing them to miss even more 1/3
